Properties
All Caheeba are comprised of 4 key properties that distinguish them from all otherbuildings.
These properties, according to their percentage in each Caheeba, determine its character and function.
Environmental Footprint
- The Caheeba do not alter the natural terrain, because the small interventions conducted for their installation are environmentally fully reversible
- The Caheeba buildings do not pollute the atmosphere, because they do not use fossil fuel for their operation.
- The Caheeba buildings collect rainwater and recycle a large proportion of their sewage.
- The Caheeba buildings are constructed from recyclable or reusable materials.
Energy Autonomy
- The Caheeba are fully or partially autonomous, because they use solar radiation and wind to meet their energy needs.
- The Caheeba buildings store the energy generated in different forms, in order to use when required.
- The Caheeba buildings have very low energy needs, because they have high specifications of Thermal Insulation in their structural elements (U value) and exploit natural lighting, without overheating the interior and without the building occupants suffering glare during the Vernal months.
Portability
- The Caheeba buildings are portable, as some are wheeled, and some can be transportedto different locations.
- The Caheeba buildings are easily moveable because their dimensions are suitable for road or sea transport.
- The Caheeba buildings are flexible in their construction / assembly, in order to adapt to specific transport requirements.
Speed of Installation / Operation
- The Caheeba buildings transported and installed / assembled in a short time and with minimal preparation.
- The Caheeba buildings are fully operational on installation, since they bear all their mechanical equipment.
