The transportable tourist settlement-bungalow of 1+1 bedrooms provides electrical energy production/storage capabilities, as well as rainwater collection and partial liquid waste recycling. The bungalow is air-conditioned throughout winter and summer, has hot water and is fully equipped with furniture, kitchen compatible with appliances of high energy class and a comfortable bathroom. It is ideal for seasonal use in touristic complexes without the necessity of connections to the main electricity and water supply / drainage-sewerage networks, if off-grid equipment is provided.

The Medi Bungalow guesthouse is made of a metallic frame with external aluminum or wood cladding and internal plywood panel lining or gypsum boards. The shell is insulated with rock mineral wool (RMW) or / and polystyrene plates surrounding the perimeter and the openings are covered with aluminum or wood frames.

For a better climatic response and a parallel reduction of energy requirements, placement on the East-West axis with the large openings facing south is recommended, in order to ensure natural cooling and shading during the Vernal months.

.Medi Bungalow possesses interior layout flexibility, depending on the function of each space and versatile morphology in the living room and adjacent semi-outdoor space, due to the combination of large sliding glazing with adjustable louvers that control the intensity of natural lighting and provide shading for the space.

It can be equipped with 10 P/V panels of 2.5kW power capacity in total and the necessary electrical layouts for generating and storing electricity. Additionally these are combined with a wind generator and all the necessary mechanical engineering equipment for connections to the main networks when required.

While having minimal environmental footprint, its operation during the vernal months results in excess electricity, capable of charging a small electric vehicle.
